The news that its mobile browser features trackers from Microsoft comes at an especially bad time for DuckDuckGo, as the company recently called out Google over its new Topics and FLEDGE tracking methods in a recent tweet. While DuckDuckGo’s mobile browser allows trackers from Microsoft, the same can’t be said about its search engine, which makes money from private ads based on search results pages viewed by its users. However, we have been continually pushing and expect to be doing more soon.” Unfortunately our Microsoft search syndication agreement prevents us from doing more to Microsoft-owned properties. in our browser), we block most third-party trackers. I don't know how these big Internet corporations are not getting sued left and right while being dismantled for privacy infringement, data collection, biased search presentation, and monopoly like business practice.“For non-search tracker blocking (e.g. I don't know what a good option is, but duckduckgo is not it. In short, this website is a pathetic excuse for a search engine who tries to get people to use it based on blatant lying as advertising. Well, I can watch videos without going to actual websites like Youtube, which store cookies, so there's that! No, duckduckgo loves cookies, and furthermore, the feature that allows you to watch those videos on duckduckgo is disappearing due to cookie blocking, which was stored anyway. ![]() At least they don't sell data, right?
